The Yanchep Lagoon is patrolled by the local surf club on a regular basis and rumour has it that fishing on the southern side of the lagoon is excellent! Further south of this is a beautiful beach for your dogs to take a swim or walk.
‘Two Rocks Marina’ has a boat ran to launch your weekend fishing trip, while sailing this part of the ocean you are never out of sight from ‘King Neptune’, a giant Limestone sculpture who has been a landmark for many years from both the ocean and the land. There is also a collection of other limestone sculptures scattered around the Two Rocks Shopping Centre depicting various subjects. When the ‘Surf is up’ for experienced surfers, the famous surf break at the ‘Spot’ is a must for anyone wanting to paddle out. While exploring this wonderful coastline please make time to visit the Atlantis Maritime Exhibition at the Two Rocks Shopping Centre, open Sundays 12noon to 3pm, a unique and fascinating overview of WA’s maritime past, the America’s Cup History and Challenge at Two Rocks and Cray Fishing History (gold coin donation on entry).
